Wednesday Daily Focus: Anti-Procrastination Day | Flylady Inspired

“Procrastination is the death of us, our relationships, and our peace!” ~FlyLady

It’s Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we who follow the Flylady system of home management focus on accomplishing tasks that we’ve been procrastinating. Hence, “Anti-Procrastination Day.”

Personally, I’m a very efficient procrastinator, so I have multiple tasks at any given time that I’ve put off. Today, I’m going to be focusing on two: returning a library book that’s a week overdue, and making dentist appointments for me and my family. It’s been about two years since any of us has been to the dentist!

Returned library book @ 7:30 AM

Scheduled dentist appointments @ 9:21 AM

Now, it’s your turn! What have you been putting off? The laundry? Scheduling a doctor’s appointment? Ordering a cushion for the double papasan frame that your husband found next to the dumpster? Make a list if you need to, and take time today to get those procrastinated tasks done, one thing at a time. (If you don’t finish everything today, there’s always next Wednesday, right?) Seize this day to quit procrastinating and just do whatever you need to do. You got this.

    1. Hello, Denny! Thank you so much for stopping by! You can reach out to me through my blog contact form. I don’t have social media and I don’t feel comfortable just handing out my e-mail address (or any other personal info, of course) to a stranger, ya know? But, I love socializing with people – that’s part of the reason why I started a blog in the first place. Hope you’re staying safe and healthy during these crazy times.

      1. Of course! I recently got back on youtube, and was sad to see your channel gone, I follow a lot of influencers on their money journey and you were one of them! Any reason why you decided to leave youtube?

      2. Thank you so much for following me on my YouTube channel when I had it! The basic reason why I left YouTube is because I was busy with work and I lost interest in maintaining a channel. You can read more in-depth about why in my post, I Permanently Deleted My YouTube Channel!, if you wanna. Hope you have a great day!

    1. Thank you! I was actually thinking about starting another home management YouTube channel in correlation with my blog. Since I got laid off, I think I could use another constructive hobby to fill my time. I don’t want to make any promises, though; but, yes, I am considering it 🙂
