I had already started the second bathroom (a.k.a. the kids’ bathroom) back in October 2019 during my zone three (bathrooms) cleaning. I had ordered a few items from Big Lots for the master bathroom makeover around that time and decided not to use all of them, so I re-purposed them in the second bathroom. I also re-purposed our old gray and pink shower curtain, bath mat, trash can, and soap dispenser.
Before
I officially started the second bathroom makeover in December. The kids’ bathroom is messy in these before pictures, evidently. I had just finished zone-cleaning our master bathroom and was about to start the second bathroom when they were taken (12/14/19). Also, the kids had just broken the shower curtain rod, unfortunately, so that needs to be replaced now.

I love the way the kids’ bathroom turned out – it’s so clean, organized, and pretty!
On another note, I’ve decided to pause Project: Home again in order to focus more funds on saving for our impending 10th wedding anniversary in June. I intend to resume Project: Home with the kitchen in June, but I may postpone it longer because we have additional savings goals. We’ll see.
