Meal Plan to Save Time & Money | My First Week of eMeals! (not sponsored)

I’ve always wanted to meal plan (and prep, too, but that’s another story) because it supposedly saves you time and money.  But, I’ve always struggled with creativity in the kitchen.  I heard about eMeals from Dave Ramsey on YouTube several months ago and thought that’s exactly what I need: direction.

I finally registered for eMeals, the low-carb plan option, and just completed my first week (the first two weeks are free; $59.99 annually)!  I spent more on groceries than I would’ve liked – I went almost $50 over my weekly budget – but I think that was at least partially because I was trying to buy everything on the list plus (almost) everything I would normally buy, which was unnecessary.  You live and you learn.

I absolutely loved it!  Every night, all I had to do was choose one of the seven meals and cook.  I actually enjoyed cooking this week because it made me feel pampered to be cooking healthy, “fancy” meals for me and my family.  I am definitely continuing service, with the intention of figuring out how not to spend over budget again.
